I'm getting ready to leave for Fairbanks with Bobby for a few days. My grandma isn't doing so well, so were going down to see her and spend a few days with her and aunt Trisha and Lissa. Poor Adam has the kiddos here, but Jake is here to help!

To the people at the rescue group in town who wouldn't adopt a dachshund puppy to me 2 1/2 years ago cause they told me "dachshunds are HORRIBLE with kids...." Yea, suck it!

We had a great time outside today!! It was beautiful!!! 70's and perfect sun! So we mowed the yard and washed the car!! And of course, played in the sprinkler!

Blake got this car for Christmas 2006... Well, when we moved back to Alaska, we had no place to store it, so we left it at Mel's since February 2009!!! Crazy right? Well, he was reunited with his car today! :)

We went to Round Table for lunch today. :) I love the forward facing camera on the iPhone, but the picture kinda sucks! :(

Soooo I finally caved.... I bought the iPhone 4!!!! With an Otter Box of course! I was really scared I'd loose my $30 unlimited internet plan, but nope, I'm grandfathered in, so unless I cancel my contract, I'm golden. So I have my 4!!! :) It's syncing now!

I took the girls to Mikey's 3rd birthday yesterday at Lidia's house. Lids and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to pose with our new boyfriends!! Sorry Adam and Stephan!!

Holy Carrots Batman!!
I helped out at Blake's field day yesterday. Last week we were all given a list of what we (as parents) were supposed to send in with our kids based on what grade level they were in. Fred Meyer's provided the hot dogs and buns, so that was taken care of. But we needed fruits and veggies and chips and such. It was a blast, but FYI, don't send carrots with your kids! EVERY other mom on the planet apparently thinks of that (side note: we sent in the mini oranges!!)....

However, a BIG thanks not only to Fred Meyer, but to the other parents at Abbott Loop!! There's never a turn out this big!!!

Day 108

Sooo, many of you know that I gave up caffeine/Coke (mostly the Coke) at Easter. It feels really good actually, BUT after a LONG day at Abbott Loop where we had a lot of fun setting up, serving, and breaking down field day and food stuff, I feel like I needed a frozen beverage of choice!! :) Soo, we stopped at our neighborhood friendly 2 Go Mart and picked up slushies! Kids got blueberry and cherry, and I of course went for the Coke flavor. It's only my 3rd since giving up Coke!! I am proud of myself. OHH, and the best part is, I am learning that I kinda do like the taste of water! lol

Today was a GREAT day! I got to help out at the KCC EMT I Testing. First I proctored the trauma station, then they needed a new victim for the re-testers! Guess who volunteered? ME! {Brit, you'd have been proud!!} Then Torrina and I went to see Something Borrowed - which by the way is not only a GREAT movie, but a really good book as well!

Since Blogger decided to make my life miserable yesterday, here's day 103 & 104 on one post! I feel like such a cheater since I missed a day, but honestly, Blogger was "down for maintenance" so there was nothing I could do!!!
